Quick Light is the world’s first wireless led lighted whip on the market. Quick Light is built n the USA with most of the components also made in the USA. Quick Light set forth to design the world’s most durable lighted flag pole, and to fix all the problems associated with lighted flag poles. The first issue plagued with lighted flag poles is the wires and lights inside the pole itself. Quick Light has NO wires or lights inside the pole. We use a new patented fiber optic that is extremely durable. This fiber optic looks like a neon light, without the gas filled glass tube that will break. The fiber optic used can be tied into a knot while still working. The pole itself is made of Lexon quality extruded tubing. This is the thickest tubing, to give you the stiffest lighted flag pole on the market. The second issue with lighted poles is the wring plug that allows the current lighted poles to be taken off for transportation of your toy. Since there are NO lights or wires in the Quick Light pole, we have now eliminated the need for a plug. This is very important to eliminate because plugs do not like sand, dirt, or moisture. They can corrode and not make connections. The third thing plagued with lighted poles, or ANY pole is the way the pole attaches to your toy. Most flag poles have some type of nut and bolt type of fastener’s. So this means you need tools for removal. One click and it’s off. The light comes from one of the worlds brightest LEDs that is mounted in the base. The base mounts with a 3/8 stud. The LED driver allows an input power of 5/24 volts dc. With a PATENT pending this is the first and only flag pole of its kind.
Where does the light come from?
Quick Light uses light emitting diodes, (LED). Traditional lights have very fragile filaments that do no hold up to vibration. We have been through many different company’s LEDs. After a long search we found the ultimate in LEDs. The Silicon Valley has just come out with one of the worlds brightest LEDs. All of the small typical LEDs measure there light output in Milli-Candelas. 100,000 Milli-Candelas= 1 Candelas. Quick Lights LEDs are measured in Candelas, with a light output of over 130 Candelas. The LED is mounted in the base, and the light shines up through the flag pole quick release into the poles patented fiber optic. With the LED mounted in the base there is much less vibration and movement at the base compared to way up at the top of the flag pole getting whipped around. The flag pole comes with a voltage regulator that you can mount remotely for a very clean looking whip. The LED is wired with two wires, a positive and negative. This is very important to take not of. For a long life of reliable use we do not use the frame as the ground that may not make connection, due to paint, power coat, or rust. All the wires can be and are suggested to be soldered, making a very permanent and reliable connection. With no wires in the flag pole we have now eliminated the un-reliable wired plug.
How do you use it?
Quick Light knows that people want something easy to operate, especially when you are tired, and loading up after a long weekend. We went over board with the durability of the quick release. The quick release is made of brass and is the toughest quick release on the market. There is no need for tools to remove the flag pole, one click and its off. The bas is very simple to mount, there is a 3/8 stud coming out of the bottom with a nut. The light output of the flag pole is very bright! They can be seen well over a mile away!
